This week the farm is bursting with growth. The trees finally have leaves and the greens are bursting with flavor. This week we bring you our bright orange carrots, spring onions, chard, three types of lettuces and a mix of miners lettuce and delicate green leaves. We have a bundle of rosemary and oregano for you and, of course, our amazing eggs.
We are working on a line of finishing salts made from Sonoma sea salt extracted from the Pacific mixed with the array of herbs and chilis we grow. So this week, we have added a Bloomfield finishing salt made with our rosemary for the premium box. Give it a try and tell us what you think. I like to sprinkle it over toast with a bit of fresh olive oil. It's really nice on top of a fromage blanc cheese or on any meat of fish dish. It's just very usable and adds just the right flavor kick.
